A quick blast up Tryfan today with my mountaineering group. They were looking for an ‘easier’ day, so we decided that the south ridge of Tryfan would give good value, without travelling too many kilometres in distance.

Light winds and overcast skies actually gave great scrambling conditions (but not so good for photos).

They were keen to get onto the summit rocks of Adam and Eve – I met a couple of friends who were also guiding clients – Dewi sent this photo of me giving the lads a ‘disclaimer’ should they fall off!

It was great to be moving at good speeds and we were back down in time to check through some of the arrangements for our expedition to the Altas Mountains of Morcco next month.

An early night would have been prudent at this point, but more live music in Bethesda from the London Afrobeat Collective kept us entertained!
