Birthday fun with Clare! Pressies, cards and pancakes for breakfast.

To make the most of a rather damp day in Wales meant that we had to opt for some alternative activities – a private sauna by the river fitted the bill perfectly!

It was an incredible experience. A tucked away little sauna, all to ourselves, with a view of the woods and river!

Outside was a plunge pool of water fed from the spring.

So we alternated between hot sauna, plunge pool and swimming in the river!

Brilliant fun…

Our session finished around 13:30, so after showering and changing, we drove a few minutes into Caernarfon and were soon tucking into a splendid lunch at the new cafe there.

After a short stroll around the castle shops, it was back to The Cottage for coffee, cake and getting dinner ready

A lovely social evening followed with goods friends, tasty food and great chat. A lot of birthday laughs. Even had the fire lit!
