Back in Llangollen for what seems like my annual visit to Dinas Bran Castle (or what’s left of it at least!).

The bluebells in the area are in full bloom at the moment – some of the best I’ve seen.

The weather cleared up for a nice evening walk along the Dee…

And our canal boat trip from Trevor Basin to Chirk was a beauty. Not a cloud to be seen…

Managed to just about get us across the aqueduct without too much zig-zagging!

It was great looking down at my shadow on the football pitch below! The boat is heading leftward in the photo and I’m at the back!

And of course, the tunnels!

Made it back in time to meet Neil and Clare for dinner in Bangor.
