Having spent a good portion of last night packing various bags with various types of kit and equipment, I estimated that over the next 25 days, I’ll be sleeping in a different bed almost every single night and travelling through six different countries.
It was a big day of travel, that went as smoothly as we could have hoped. In short, I breakfasted at The Cottage in Wales, lunched in Oslo, Norway and had dinner in Stockholm, Sweden.
Our final flight of the day touched down briefly in a small town in the way a train might call at a ‘request stop’ before taking off one final time and reaching our desired destination of Kiruna just before midnight.
