These ebooks were written as a labour of love between 2008-2010. Many years before the internet was abundant with information about everything!

The idea was to provide people with first hand information from trips we’d been on in a concise format to support and supplement the local guidebooks that existed.

The Picos de Europa in Spain particularly was tricky to find information about and at the time, the last English guide to the area was written in 1989. Our Picos de Europa Climbing Companion was the most up to date source of information in English for many years. But with new guidebooks, google translate and the power of AI to do the research for you, the content within is now either obsolete or can be found elsewhere.

But for those that are curious about what it was like climbing in the Picos de Europa back in 2008 you can now download our companion guides for free. You never know, you may still find a gem or two within for your trip!
