There’s a feel that Spring is in the air around here now. The Cottage was right on the divide of the weather today, with dark clouds and to the south, blowing a fine drizzle across the garden, but to the north, the skies stayed bright and blue. Buds are appearing on the trees, and as Hywel had a decent drive ahead of him later, we set out from foot to check out the local area.

We wandered up through the shelter of the woods to Mynydd.

The light drizzle was creating a rainbow in blue sky. Cool.

Back at The Cottage before Hywel left, we dug out a few photos from the famous Svalbard ‘96 expedition to see if we’d changed much?…

A fine social day with a great friend, and for the first time in six days, it didn’t involve a big mountain hike! It was good to have a gentle relaxing day – and find time for a much needed hair cut! Ha ha!
