A wet Sunday made for perfect conditions for some expedition planning at The Cottage. Over the next five months I’ve got quite a lot of trips in the pipeline, all of which require a decent amount of planing and logistics.

To counteract the time spent hunched over the computer, I had a good session in the log gym after lunch…

Thanks to Mum’s efforts during her previous visit, the hanging baskets are looking really good.

In the afternoon/evening, we went to a dance party in a nearby barn. A great DJ and a psyched crowd gave some great vibes. Even though it was early afternoon, it felt like a late-night club! Instead of a bar, there was a tea urn, and it was an 8pm curfew, so we were back home for showers and dinner by 20:15! Only in North Wales! Brilliant!
