2025 in Photos – A Highlights Review

According to the ‘Mountain Lifestyle’ website stats, 2025 has been quite the year, as documented in 191 Blog Posts. While our home base remains in North Wales, we’ve also travelled through some new parts of England and Wales this year, as well as venturing overseas. I spent almost all of April in the Arctic – starting with a week long wilderness expedition journey across Northern Sweden by Husky sled. Then, joined by Clare, we ski toured up and among the remote peaks in the Tromso region of Norway. In June I led a trekking expedition in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, July was spent living in the Ecrin National Park, in the French Alps. After a brief visit to Paris with Mum, August was spent on bikes, cycle touring through Belgium and Holland. The cycling journey vibe continued later in the year, with a traverse of Norfolk’s coastline in the East of England in October, then we saw the year out by rock climbing and snorkelling on the Greece island of Evia, for two weeks, near Manikia.

Good times and thousands of photos! Thanks to everyone who been involved, cheered us on or joined us on the adventures. We’re looking forward to more laughs, friendships, adventures and memories in 2026… But for now, here’s a few of my favourite moments from 2025 to look back on and remember.
