After such a wild stretch of stormy weather, I was super lucky today to spend a whole day peacefully floating around the lake on a paddleboard!

In between weather fronts, my day with a student group hit the jackpot with barely a breath of wind. It was full autumn colours on the banks and the air temperature remained warm. A really peaceful day and at a leisurely pace, which made a good change from yesterday!

I even had a few jumps off the pontoon – in my wetsuit this time though!

Then after a calm day, I’ve picked up the pace again and am currently up in the Lake District! Ah! The variety of life!
