Local hiking on Drosgyl, Gyrn & Llfyn

Decided that we ought get a little bit of exercise and see a view that’s a bit further than then edge of The Cottage grounds. So after a gentle Sunday start, with breakfast in the garden, we set out up a few of the lesser frequented local peaks.

Llfyn was our first summit after skipping Moel Faban, where a very comfy rock provided a good place to sit back and enjoy lunch. From there we carried on to Gyrn, where it was pretty breezy on top.

After a bit more food and chat, we decided to continue onwards to the summit cairn and burial mound on the peak called Drosgyl.

All in all a decent stretch of the legs with some wide range views. 11.4km in total with 660m of ascent.
