Stormy wet weather up in the mountains meant that we descended the valley a little today to climb some single pitch routes downhill from our house. It was nice to get a new view and be able to climb in the sunshine without getting toasted. A contrast to a few days ago, where the rock in Ailefroide was almost too hot to touch!

The rock was a compact limestone crag, with cool rippled layers. We climbed a bunch of good routes.
