Another stunner day, but a change in wind direction has made it feel rather nippy. I was working with a group who are getting ready for a trekking expedition, so we chose to get a bit of shelter on the south western edge of Anglesey.

We followed the shores of the Menai Straits, then cut inland to Newbrough, where the tides were just right for crossing the stepping stones.

Saw a bit of wildlife too!

I drove around to the main beach, where it was no hardship waiting for them to arrive in the sand dunes, taking in the view!

A very nice afternoon indeed…

We didn’t quite have time to dip our toes in the water, but were content with the view.

Back at The Cottage, I met Clare for a walk down to the river and it was so nice, we went out again at dusk, when the bats were swooping about on the track.
