A quick afternoon jaunt up a local peak after a morning of Cottage admin. It was due to brighten up later, but we didn’t want to wait that long, so togged up and hiked up into the mist…

There wasn’t much of a view on the top, but after point out the way down to some concerned walkers, we had the mountain to ourselves…

We decided to descend the same way back to the van, and as we did, the clouds began to lift and the views of the sea were revealled.

The lower we got, the brighter the views became!…

And finally, as promised, the clouds parted and the sun broke through just before it reached the horizon.
