Lake Calm

There wasn’t quite a frost on the ground this morning, but it can’t have been far off. Perky conditions for my final scheduled paddleboarding trip for a while. But while the temperatures were low, the skies were blue and there was barely a breath of wind.

Good conditions for one of my final paddleboarding sessions of the season. It’s amazing how much better everyone can be, with the incentive of not wanting to fall into cold water!

Then in the evening, Evan Dando (singer from ‘The Lemonheads’), played a solo gig in Bethesda. Amazing to be able to see someone who’d usually be playing big festivals, in a small crowd of about a hundred people. It was a ‘warm up’ for his forthcoming tour, and although I like his music, I’d say he still needed a bit more ‘warming up’ as the poor guy only seemed to make it through without falling over!
