Tryfan Bach

I actually spent most of the day in and out of kayaks and floating about on paddle boards. The water is still ‘okay’ but it’s definitely starting to cool down! After getting my kit hung up to dry (I had to lead from the front by jumping into the lake mid-session!), I met Clare and swap paddles for climbing kit.

With the evenings starting to draw in, we wanted to make the most of them, so scooted up Tryfan Bach slabs as the light dimmed.

Two other climbers arrived while we were there, who had come over from the Llanberis Pass, where it had just started raining! We had managed to find enough light and dry weather!

We sat chatting on the top for a bit, enjoying the local views.

One route was enough to keep us satisfied. After scrambling back to the bags, we finally returned to The Cottage for dinner.
