No major outdoor adventures this week, as we’ve been embroiled in a major building project at The Cottage. In between an onslaught of builders, electricians, plumbers and engineers, I’ve managed to get a couple of glimpses of the mountains – usually in the evening once the dust has settled (some evenings there has been people working here until 21:30!).

There have at least been some nice sunsets to enjoy in the peace of the evening once everyone has gone!

Meanwhile inside… Here’s a few snapshots of the devastation!

The last of the ‘indoor’ builders have now thankfully departed. We’re just waiting for an insulation team to do the final bits. All that remains is a top to bottom renovation. The whole house needs cleaning, dusting, painting and hopefully by the end of summer we’ll have a new house! For now, we’re still camped out in between Clare’s office and the back of the van!
