Without any particular planning, the past week I’ve been swimming every day this week! A combination of warm weather has happily coincided with me being in some beautiful swimming spots, with enough time to spare to get in the water.

On our way to a party on Saturday night we stopped off to ‘freshen up’ in the Menai Straits!

On Sunday I had the pleasure of doing a lesson observation at Llyn Brenig Sailing Club! I even got to try my hand at zooming around in a boat myself. Not as easy as it looks, but a wonderful feeling to be propelled along at speed by Mother Nature.

A huge thunderstorm arrived once we were off the water with some torrential downpours, but back at The Cottage there had been only a distant rumble and no rain! The warmth and stillness of the evening drew us out into the valley swimming hole.

I stayed in for quite a long time, swimming lengths as my body began to chill down.
