A mixed bag of conditions working on the rock this week. Waterproofs and even gloves at times in the Ogwen Valley earlier in the week after a late season frosty start.

I’ve been doing some skills training for an expedition group that I’ll be taking to Cornwall in a few months time. Nick was working with me, so it was nice to be climbing alongside another team. All rather social for a big cliff.

Rain stopped play eventually though and we aborted to the national mountain centre to do some expedition planning.

Friday was a total change of fortunes! Sun traps could be found but only out of the cold north winds!
