Office Training

Having unexpectedly lost a week, I’m not quite ready or in physical shape to get back in the mountains, but I’ve been building up strength slowly in the office – and especially thanks to my new coffee cup!

I’ve been gifted this mug that has a climbing wall hold bolted on the side instead of a handle! Perfect for building pinch grip and finger strength, although I was a little nervous drinking from it near my laptop, just in case I couldn’t hold on!

Today, I ventured outside with a group of students on an introduction to navigating using orienteering maps. It’s been overcast, but very calm, without a breath of wind all day. We were mostly in the woods, but got a few nice glimpses of the sea. Nice to be working back outside again!
