It looks like we’ve timed our visit to coincide with a spell of cool settled weather, which means waking up to this amazing view!

Newberry Hill State Park is just a short drive away near the town of Silverdale, and perfect for a morning walk in the crisp autumnal air.

We followed various loop trails and worked up an appetite for a (delicious) lunch in ‘Chipotle’ the famous Mexican Food takeaway, (very much recommended by Clare on her previous visits!), we returned home then had a great walk through Bremerton and back to the water.
