A day of washing, cleaning, sorting and packing just flew by and before we had time for anything else, we were at the airport and heading west!

A very small plane got us from Manchester to Dublin…

And inside the airport, we somehow crossed into American territory!

It was a super quick and efficient process and soon enough we were settling into a much bigger plane for the 9 hour flight west.

We had the good fortune of having extra legroom seats and an empty seat next to us too, so it all felt rather luxurious. Books, food and movies soon passed the time.

I even had a little snooze while we flew over Greenland.

It was evening time in the US when we landed. We were both pretty tired, so it was a real treat to be met by Ben and Anna and taken back to their lovely home for food and a comfy bed!

Before sleep though, there was plenty of ‘Ben time’ to be had!
