Roaming the Hills

A super Sunday of Outdoor Education exploring some of the terrain to the east of Tryfan. Delightful warm weather meant that we could make the short scramble up the ridge from the farm and then wander free, where ever the designated navigators suggested!

Great views on all directions and nice to have excited students who could explore ‘free range’ and then return to report on their findings for ‘the best way to go next’.

We didn’t summit any peaks, but did cover a lot of ground – even some places I’d never been before as well!

We finished by descending under Tryfan Bach, which gave an inspirational sight and something to come back for!

A fine day with some artistic cloud cover as well…
