Evening Warmth

Bizarre temperatures across Snowdonia today, with the summits almost reaching 20°C! After a day of promoting the wonderful world of Outdoor Education, Clare and I nipped into the valley to make the most of the warmth and light.

Office Duties!

We arrived at the crag just as the last climbers were leaving. Perfect timing. Unbelievably, it was warm enough to climb in t-shirts until the sunset!

On the summit, after a long pitch, we just layback, relaxed and enjoyed the view.

On top…
23.5°C at 19:15!

We walked out, back to the car at 19:10, at which point it was still just about light enough to not need our head torches. A bonus to get a climb in and be home for dinner at 19:30!
