Still without full lung capacity, but keen to make the most of the afternoon sunshine, we went over to the slate quarry above Llanberis. This allowed for some gentle rock climbs in the sun, but without any effect to get there, as the walk from car to crag takes about 60seconds.

After climbing our ‘usual’ route (Equinox), we walked higher to do the route above called Jenga. Next to this we found two new routes had appeared, so for completion, we climbed them both first. They were nice enough, easy leads, but still with a few suspicious holds. Go with caution…

Bus Stop Quarry Climbs:
– Equinox, VS (4c)**
– Slab Route RH, 5a
– Slab Route, 4a
– Jenga, 5a*
