Jumping, diving and swimming has been the theme of the last few days, along with plenty of lounging in the garden, drinking coffee and enjoying a slow pace. Excitement has come in the form of jumping into nearby pools of cold water.
We also been able to enjoy a local social – and what a treat to be able to cycle to a party!
The lakes continue to be considerably warmer that the river, so after a run through the forest, we had a cool down with Snowdon views last night.
The wind made the swim a bit choppy, but with was still a delight!
After another ‘energising’ (i.e freezing cold), dip this morning, we returned for hot showers and pancakes, which even featured raspberries and strawberries from The Cottage gardens!
