Thought that the strong winds might have given a few waves to surf, but it wasn’t to be. Given that it was only a few degrees on the beach, I think we were both a bit relieved and were happy to enjoy a coastal walk, remaining fully dressed and with two jackets on each! 

As long as we had the wind to our backs it was pleasant. Into the wind gave us a face full of windblown sand!

On the way home, we found a good sheltered spot by the high tide too. An hour later and it was raining hard!
